Custom Settings

For advanced users, ClipLite provides granular control over the compression process:

  • Resolution: Downscale your video (e.g., 1080p to 720p) to significantly reduce size while keeping it sharp.
  • Frame Rate: Lower the FPS (e.g., 60 to 30) for a more cinematic look and smaller files.
  • Bitrate Control: Manually set the video and audio bitrates to target a specific file size.
  • Audio Channels: Switch between Stereo and Mono depending on your audio needs.

Common Errors

ClipLite comes with built-in FFmpeg. If it fails to load, ensure you have the necessary permissions to run executables in the app directory or try reinstalling the app.

Ensure your input file is a valid video format (.mp4, .mkv, .mov, .avi or .webm). Encrypted or corrupted files may not be supported.
